Controller Area Network (CAN)
The EP80579 provides a CAN interface that includes support for CAN 2.0B protocol, 11-
bit and 29-bit identifiers, and supports bit rates up to 1 Mbps. The EP80579 provides
support for various external PHY chips, such as the TI-SN65HVD230D transceiver.
This section describes the electrical characteristics of the CAN interface.
