Universal Serial Bus (USB)
The EP80579 has (2) Universal Serial Bus 2.0 interface that can be configured as
master, but not as a slave interface.
The USB interface supports both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 signaling. USB1.1 has a low-
speed mode (1.5 Mbps) and a full-speed mode (12 Mbps). USB 2.0 works at high speed
LVDS mode with a data rate of 480 Mbps. The driver operates in voltage mode for
USB 1.1 and current mode for USB 2.0. The receiver can detect single-ended/
differential-ended classical signals as well as high speed LVDS signals.
This section describes the electrical characteristics of the USB interface.
