(a) What is partial resizing?
Given an original source image area (for example, a 500 × 300 pixel area) for a fully resized
destination image, if only a part (for example, 50 × 50 pixels) of the source image area is
modified, partial resizing refers to the method by which only the modified area (approximately 50
× 50 pixels) is resized, instead of resizing the entire source image area (500 × 300).
