5. Notes on Usage of I²C
• While 5V interface signal is input to this LSI, the power must be supplied to this LSI.
If the power supply to SH-4 is switched off, the power supply to the bus pull-up resistance
must be switched off.
The I/O buffer for I²C is 5V tolerant, if the power is supplied to this LSI.
The I/O buffer may be destroyed, if the 5V interface signal is input while the power supply to
this LSI is switched off.
• If an external pull-down resistance is connected to the 5V tolerant buffer, the value of the
resistance must be less than 15kΩ.
