28.5 Usage Notes
• Once an SDIR command is set, it will not be modified unless a TRST signal is asserted, the
TAP controller enters the Test-Logic-Reset state, or other command is re-issued via the H-
UDI.
• An H-UDI interrupt or an H-UDI reset can be accepted to cancel sleep mode. Neither of these
signals can be accepted in standby mode.
• H-UDI functions cannot be used in standby mode. To retain the TAP controller state before
and after standby mode, drive a TCK signal high when placing this LSI into standby mode.
• The H-UDI can also be used for emulator connection. Therefore, H-UDI functions cannot be
used when an emulator is used.
