Notes: 1. If the A/D and D/A converters are not used, do not leave the AVCC, Vref , and AVSS pins
open. Apply a voltage between 4.5 V and 5.5 V to the AVCC and Vref pins by connecting
them to VCC, for instance. Set Vref ≤ AVCC.
2. Current dissipation values are for VIH (min.) = VCC – 0.5 V, VIL (max.) = 0.5 V with all
output pins unloaded and the on-chip pull-up resistors in the off state.
3. The values are for VRAM ≤ VCC < 3.0 V, VIH (min.) = VCC × 0.9, and VIL (max.) = 0.3 V.
4. ICC depends on VCC and f as follows:
ICC (max.) = 30 (mA) + 0.54 (mA/(MHz × V)) × VCC × f (normal operation)
ICC (max.) = 30 (mA) + 0.45 (mA/(MHz × V)) × VCC × f (sleep mode)
5. The watch, subactive, and subsleep modes are available in the U-mask version only.
See section 22A.7, Subclock Oscillator, for the method of fixing pins OSC1 and OSC2.
6. If the motor-control PWM timer is not used, do not leave the PMWVCC, or PMWVSS pins
open. If the motor-control PWM timer is not used, apply a voltage of between 4.5 and
5.5 V to the PWMVCC pin, for instance, by connecting it to VCC.
