10. Processor Mode
PM13 (Internal Area Expansion Bit 0) (b3)
This bit is used to select the range of the RAM, program ROM 1, and external area.
When the PM13 bit is 0, the size of the RAM and program ROM 1 is limited, but a wide range can be
selected for the external area.
When the PM13 bit is 1, the entire RAM and the program ROM 1 in addresses 80000h to CFFFFh are
available. Table 10.5 lists the Functions of Bits PM13 and IRON and Table 10.6 lists Functions of
Addresses 80000h to CFFFFh.
