17.4 Operation
17.4.1 Serial Clocks
Master/Slave Modes: The following modes are available as the SIOF clock mode.
• Slave mode: SCK_SIO*, SIOFSYNC input
• Master mode: SCK_SIO*, SIOFSYNC output
Note: * In master mode, the SCK_SIO signal is kept output even if there is data or not.
Baud Rate Generator (BRG): In SIOF master mode, the baud rate generator (BRG) is used to
generate the serial clock. The division ratio is from 1/2 to 1/1024.
Figure 17.2 shows connections for supply of the serial clock.
