20.1 Overview
This chip has two ports, designated A and B. Port A is a 14-bit input/output port, and port B is a
16-bit input/output port. The port pins are multiplexed as general input/output and other functions.
(The function of multiplexed multiplex pins is selected by means of the pin function controller
(PFC).) Ports A and B are each provided with a data register for storing pin data.
20.2 Port A
Port A is an input/output port with the 14 pins shown in figure 20.1. Of the 14 pins, the CKPO pin
has no port data register bit, and is multiplexed as an internal clock pin.

Note: * The fact that the WDTOVF pin is set to output mode after a reset
must be noted when it is to be used as a general I/O port (PA7).
