Intel^® 82598EB 10 GbE Controller - SMBus Pass-Through Transactions
When the 0XDE command is set, the 82598EB always returns opcode 0XDD with 82598EB
status. The BMC reads the event causing the notification, using the Read Status command as
follows:
The 82598EB response to one of the commands (0xC0 or 0xD0) in a given time as defined in
the SMBus Notification Timeout and Flags word in the EEPROM.
