The port C I/O register (PCIOR) is a 16-bit read/write register that selects input or output for the
16 port C pins. Bits PC15IOR to PC0IOR correspond to pins PC15/A15 to PC0/A0. PCIOR is
enabled when the port C pins function as general input/outputs (PC15 to PC0). For other
functions, it is disabled.
When the port C pin functions are as PC15 to PC0, a given pin in port C is an output pin if its
corresponding PCIOR bit is set to 1, and an input pin if the bit is cleared to 0.
PCIOR is initialized to H'0000 by external power-on reset; however, it is not initialized for reset
by WDT, standby mode, or sleep mode, so the previous values are maintained.
The settings in this register are functional only in the SH7016 and SH7017. In the SH7014, there
are no pins corresponding to this register, and it should not be read or written to.
