Functions
Power supply pin. Connect this pin to the system
power supply.
Ground pin. Connect this pin to the system power
supply (0 V).
Analog power supply pin for the A/D converter.
When the A/D converter is not used, connect this
pin to the system power supply.
These pins connect with crystal or ceramic
resonator for the system clock, or can be used to
input an external clock.
See section 4, Clock Pulse Generators, for a typical
connection.
These pins connect with a 32.768- or 38.4-kHz
crystal resonator for the subclock. See section 4,
Clock Pulse Generators, for a typical connection.
Clock output pin.
Reset pins. The power-on reset circuit is
incorporated. When externally driven low, the chip
is reset.
Test pins. Also used as the ADTRG pin. When this
pin is not used as the ADTRG pin, users cannot
use this pin. Connect this pin to Vss. When this pin
is used as the ADTRG pin, see section 17.4.2,
External Trigger Input Timing.
