15.5.5 Usage Notes when Writing to and Reading the Register
• When reading a counter register such as the second counter after having written to the register,
follow the procedure in section 15.4.3, Reading Time.
• When reading the RCR2 register after having written to it, read the register after having
dummy-read it twice. The value read in both dummy-read operations will be the value before
writing. The written value will be reflected in the value read the third time.
• For other registers, written values are immediately reflected in read values.
