Section 19 I/O Ports
This LSI has 26 ports (ports A, B, C, D, and E). Port A, port B, port C, port D, and port E are 10-
bit, 14-bit, 21-bit, 8-bit, and 25-bit I/O port, respectively. The pins of each port are multiplexed
with other functions. The pin function controller (PFC) handles the selection of multiplex pin
functions. Each port has a data register to store data of pin.

Port A of this LSI is an I/O port with ten pins as shown in figure 19.1.

19.1.1 Register Description
Port A is a 10-bit I/O port that has a following register. For details on the address of this register
and the states of this register in each processing state, see section 24, List of Registers.

19.1.2 Port A Data Register H (PADRH)
PADRH is a 16-bit readable/writable register which stores data for port A. Bits PA25DR to
PA16DR correspond to pins PA25 to PA16. (Description of multiplexed functions is omitted.)
