FIFO Usage
The user’s receive FIFO handler has to run the following procedure
assuming the FIFO is not empty:
• lock the FIFO buffer by setting the LOCK bit of buffer 0, the buffer
with the oldest unaccessed message, addressed by GETIDX,
appears in the memory map
• copy over the message
• unlock the FIFO buffer, the GETIDX will be incremented
Unlocking an empty FIFO does not increment the GETIDX and does not
set the FIFO empty flag.
