4.4.4.6. Verify DMA Cycle with Terminal Count
The terminal count during a verify cycle (Figure 8) is similar to the terminal count in a normal DMA cycle, except
for the following: only the I/O portion occurs, the PCI command is always an I/O read cycle, no data is
transferred on the PCI bus, and the I/O address is 0C4h for the terminal count cycle.
