Compare Output in Trap State Register
The six lower bits of the COTRAP register define the values of Port 1 pins 2 to 7, which
are programmed to be used as compare outputs, when a trap state is entered. Bit 6 is
reserved and must always be written with a ‘0’. Bit 7 selects either one of the two block
commutation tables for rotate left that is provided.

BCTSEL = 0: The table for 60° phase angle will be selected.
BCTSEL = 1: The table for 0° phase angle will be selected.
Reserved
This bit must always be written with a ‘0’. Writing a ‘1’ to this
bit is prohibited.
Compare output level in trap condition
Bits at even positions (0, 2, 4) are assigned to the CCx compare
outputs. Bits at odd positions (1, 3, 5) are assigned to the
COUTx compare outputs.
CCxT, COUTxT = 0: If the compare timer is running, the
compare channel output CCx, COUTx
(x = 0-2) will be switched to 0 level in trap
state if the channel is enabled for trap
function.
CCxT, COUTxT = 1: If the compare timer is running, the
compare channel output CCx, COUTx
(x = 0-2) will be switched to 1 level in trap
state if the channel is enabled for trap
function.
