DESCRIPTION
Copy Cell Enable - Transmit User Cell Filter # 2:
This READ/WRITE bit-field permits the user to either configure
Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 (within the Transmit ATM Cell Pro-
cessor Block) to copy all cells that have header byte patterns
that comply with the user-defined criteria, per Transmit User Cell
Filter # 2, or to NOT copy any of these cells.
If the user configures Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 to copy all
cells complying with a certain header-byte pattern, then a copy
(or replicate) of this compliant ATM cell will be routed to the
Transmit Cell Extraction Buffer.
If the user configures Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 to NOT copy
all cells complying with a certain header-byte pattern, then NO
copies (or replicates) of these compliant ATM cells will be made
nor will any be routed to the Transmit Cell Extraction Buffer.
0 - Configures Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 to NOT copy any
cells that have header byte patterns which are compliant with the
user-defined filtering criteria.
1 - Configures Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 to copy any cells that
have header byte patterns that are compliant with the user-
defined filtering criteria, and to route these copies (of cells) to the
Transmit Cell Extraction Buffer.
NOTE: This bit-field is only active if Transmit User Cell Filter # 2
has been enabled.
Discard Cell Enable - Transmit User Cell Filter # 2:
This READ/WRITE bit-field permits the user to either configure
Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 (within the Transmit ATM Cell Pro-
cessor Block) to discard all cells that have header byte patterns
that comply with the user-defined criteria, per Transmit User Cell
Filter # 2, or NOT discard any of these cells.
If the user configures Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 to NOT dis-
carded any cells that is compliant with a certain header-byte pat-
tern, then the cell will be retained for further processing.
0 - Configures Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 to NOT discard any
cells that have header byte patterns that are compliant with the
user-defined filtering criteria.
1 - Configures Transmit User Cell Filter # 2 to discard any cells
that have header byte patterns that are compliant with the user-
defined filtering criteria.
NOTE: This bit-field is only active if Transmit User Cell Filter # 2
has been enabled.
