NOTE
To configure the desired virtual mode the user must set MODESELECT bit and
DELAYMODE bitfield for each corresponding pad control register.
The pad control registers are presented Table 4-3 and described in Device TRM, Control
Module section.
CAUTION
The IO timings provided in this section are only valid if signals within a single
IOSET are used. The IOSETs are defined in Table 7-32.
In Table 7-32 are presented the specific groupings of signals (IOSET) for use with McASP1.

7.15 Controller Area Network Interface (DCAN and MCAN)
7.15.1 DCAN
The device provides one DCAN interface for supporting distributed realtime control with a high level of
security.
The DCAN interface implements the following features:
• Supports CAN protocol version 2.0 part A, B
• Bit rates up to 1 MBit/s
• 64 message objects
• Individual identifier mask for each message object
