T12 in Center-Aligned mode:
• With the next clock of f_T12 the count direction is set to counting up (CDIR = 0) when
the counter reaches 0001_H while counting down.
• With the next clock of f_T12 the count direction is set to counting down (CDIR = 1) when
the Period-Match is detected while counting up.
• With the next clock of f_T12 the counter counts up while CDIR = 0 and it counts down
while CDIR = 1.
Note: Bit CDIR changes with the next timer clock after the one-match or the period-
match. Therefore, the timer continues counting in the previous direction for one
cycle before actually changing its direction (see Figure 18-6).
