Each FLASH array is programmed and erased through control bits in
their respective memory mapped FLASH control registers, FLCR and
FLCR1.
The 13K-bytes array is programmed in double bytes. Programming an
odd address ($xxxx+1) location automatically programs the content in
the OSD FLASH even high byte write buffer (OSDEHBUF) to the even
address ($xxxx) location.
NOTE:
Programming tools are available from Freescale. Contact your local
Freescale representative for more information.
A security feature prevents viewing of the FLASH contents.1
1. No security feature is absolutely secure. However, Freescale’s strategy is to make reading or
copying the FLASH difficult for unauthorized users.
