EBI Direct Mode Acknowledge Flag
â0â: The EBI has not (yet) entered direct mode
â1â: The EBI has entered direct mode
Note: This bit is only used for EBI direct mode.
SDRAM Size
â0â: 16 MBit (2 Ã 2048 Ã 256 Ã 2B), 2 banks (bank = adr_11)
â1â: 64 MBit (4 Ã 4096 Ã 256 Ã 2B), 4 banks (bank = adr_13:12)
Refresh Controller Enable Bit
â0â: Refresh controller for SDRAM is disabled
â1â: Refresh controller for SDRAM is enabled
The EDMR request flag and the hardware controlled acknowledge flag EDMA are used
during âEBI direct modeâ for implementing a four-phase handshake which guarantees
that each direct mode command is executed exactly once by the EBI.
