M13 MULTIPLEXER/CLEAR CHANNEL DS3 FRAMER IC XRT72L13
REV. 1.0.6
When this loop-back is configured, then the
âRxDS1Data_11â signal will internally be âlooped-
backâ into the âTxDS1Data_11â path. Further, the
âRxDS1Clock_11â clock signal will also be internally
looped back into the âRxDS1Clock_11â signal path.
Setting this bit-field to â1â enables this loop-back
mode. Conversely, setting this bit-field to â0â disables
this loop-back mode.
NOTE: This bit-field is ignored if the XRT72L13 has been
configured to operate in the âITU-T G.747â Mode.
Bit 6 - Loop-back Activation - DS1 Channel 10
This âRead/Writeâ bit-field permits the user to config-
ure DS1 Channel 10 into Remote Loop-back Mode.
When this loop-back is configured, then the
âRxDS1Data_10â signal will internally be âlooped-
backâ into the âTxDS1Data_10â path. Further, the
âRxDS1Clock_10â clock signal will also be internally
looped back into the âRxDS1Clock_10â signal path.
Setting this bit-field to â1â enables this loop-back
mode. Conversely, setting this bit-field to â0â disables
this loop-back mode.
Bit 5 - Loop-back Activation - DS1 Channel 9
This âRead/Writeâ bit-field permits the user to config-
ure DS1 Channel 9 into Remote Loop-back Mode.
When this loop-back is configured, then the
âRxDS1Data_9â signal will internally be âlooped-backâ
into the âTxDS1Data_9â path. Further, the
âRxDS1Clock_9â clock signal will also be internally
looped back into the âRxDS1Clock_9â signal path.
Setting this bit-field to â1â enables this loop-back
mode. Conversely, setting this bit-field to â0â disables
this loop-back mode.
Bit 4 - Loop-back Activation - DS1 Channel 8
This âRead/Writeâ bit-field permits the user to config-
ure DS1 Channel 8 into Remote Loop-back Mode.
When this loop-back is configured, then the
âRxDS1Data_8â signal will internally be âlooped-backâ
into the âTxDS1Data_8â path. Further, the
âRxDS1Clock_8â clock signal will also be internally
looped back into the âRxDS1Clock_8â signal path.
Setting this bit-field to â1â enables this loop-back
mode. Conversely, setting this bit-field to â0â disables
this loop-back mode.
Bit 3 - Loop-back Request - DS1 Channel 11
This âRead/Writeâ bit-field permits the user to config-
ure the XRT72L13 to transmit a âDS1 Channel 11 -
Loop-back Requestâ signal to the Remote Terminal
Equipment. When the Remote Terminal Equipment
receives this request, it is expected to respond by
configuring its own DS1 Channel 11 signal into Loop-
back Mode.
NOTE: This bit-field is ignored if the XRT72L13 has been
configured to operate in the âITU-T G.747â Mode.
Bit 2 - Loop-back Request - DS1 Channel 10
This âRead/Writeâ bit-field permits the user to config-
ure the XRT72L13 to transmit a âDS1 Channel 10 -
Loop-back Requestâ signal to the Remote Terminal
Equipment. When the Remote Terminal Equipment
receives this request, it is expected to respond by
configuring its own DS1 Channel 10 signal into Loop-
back Mode.
NOTE: This bit-field is ignored if the XRT72L13 has been
configured to operate in the âITU-T G.747â Mode.
Bit 1 - Loop-back Request - DS1 Channel 9
This âRead/Writeâ bit-field permits the user to config-
ure the XRT72L13 to transmit a âDS1 Channel 9 -
Loop-back Requestâ signal to the Remote Terminal
Equipment. When the Remote Terminal Equipment
receives this request, it is expected to respond by
configuring its own DS1 Channel 9 signal into Loop-
back Mode.
NOTE: This bit-field is ignored if the XRT72L13 has been
configured to operate in the âITU-T G.747â Mode.
Bit 0 - Loop-back Request - DS1 Channel 8
This âRead/Writeâ bit-field permits the user to config-
ure the XRT72L13 to transmit a âDS1 Channel 8 -
Loop-back Requestâ signal to the Remote Terminal
Equipment. When the Remote Terminal Equipment
receives this request, it is expected to respond by
configuring its own DS1 Channel 8 signal into Loop-
back Mode.
NOTE: This bit-field is ignored if the XRT72L13 has been
configured to operate in the âITU-T G.747â Mode.
