This section describes the 25,088 bytes of ROM (read-only memory).
4.3 Functional Description
These addresses are user ROM locations:
$9C00 – $FBFF (24,576 bytes)
$FC00 – $FDFF (512 bytes)
NOTE:
$FFE6 – $FFFF (These locations are reserved for user-defined interrupt
and reset vectors.)
A security feature prevents viewing of the ROM contents.¹
1. No security feature is absolutely secure. However, Freescale’s strategy is to make reading or
copying the ROM contents difficult for unauthorized users.
