5.7.1.5 NC Balls
Beginning with the A3 stepping of the 830MP chipset, a ballout change was made to the chipset and a
number of chipset features were defeatured. The resulting ballout change also resulted in four NC (No
Connect) balls that are no longer used in any chipset features. However, these four NC balls are still used
as input and/or output to some of the XOR test chains. The following table lists the balls and associated
XOR chain.
