AMD-K6^® Processor Data Sheet
MMX™ Registers
The AMD-K6 processor implements eight 64-bit MMX registers
and three packed data types for use by multimedia software.
These registers are mapped on the floating-point registers. The
MMX instructions refer to these registers as mm0 to mm7.
Figures 16 and 17 show the format of these registers and data
types. See AMD-K6^® Processor Multimedia Technology, order#
