2.2 Introduction
The CPU08 can address 64K bytes of memory space. The memory map
includes:
• 1024 bytes of RAM
• 32,256 bytes of User ROM
• 512 bytes of EEPROM
• 52 bytes of user-defined vectors
• 256 bytes of monitor ROM
The following definitions apply to the memory map representation of
reserved and unimplemented locations.
• Reserved — Accessing a reserved location can have
unpredictable effects on MCU operation.
• Unimplemented — Accessing an unimplemented location can
cause an illegal address reset (within the constraints as outlined
in System Integration Module (SIM) on page 95.
