shading and texture mapping with bi-linear filtering/automatic perspective
correction, and provides high- quality realistic 3D drawing. A built-in
sophisticated texture mapping unit delivers fast pixel calculations. This unit
also delivers color blending between the shading color and texture color as
well as alpha blending per pixel.
Hidden surface management
MB86290A supports the Z buffer for hidden surface management.
