18.4.1 Character Display Area Resolution
The count of rows of the character display area can be adjusted in a range from
33 to 64 columns in horizontal direction. In vertical direction the character
display area is fixed to 25 rows. It depends on the settings for synchronisation
mode, pixel frequency and character matrix if all these columns are visible on
the tube.
The programmable parameters DISALH4 to DISALH0 are the binary
representation of a offset value. This offset value plus 33_d gives the count of
columns:
