W83L517D supports both ACPI and legacy power managements. The switch logic of the power
management block generates an SMI interrupt in the legacy mode and an PME interrupt in the ACPI
mode. The new ACPI feature routes SMI / PME logic output either to SMI or toPME .The SMI / PME logic
routes to SMI only when both PME_EN = 0 and SMIPME_OE = 1. Similarly, the SMI / PME logic routes to
PME only when both PME_EN = 1 and SMIPME_OE = 1.
