MAC Address, Second Word
[15:0], R/W
This is the second of three words in the 48-bit MAC
address.
The MAC address is used to receive unicast address
ï¬ltering of the DA, and serves as the SA for automatically
generated MAC control pause frames.
A0 (see Register 2) corresponds to the ï¬rst bit
transmitted or received by the MAC section (DA[0] or
SA[0] in Figure 2.3.

This is the third of three words that comprise the 48-bit
MAC address.
The MAC address is used to receive unicast address
