CIF(23:0)
For the respective Port 15..0 in downstream direction an OAM cell
could not be inserted. This occurs during the SCAN process if between
consecutive LCIs there is no opportunity to insert the required OAM
cell. OAM cells are not inserted if the filling level of the respective qeue
exceeds the threshold specified in the OAMTHRD register.
The indication may also be generated for any of the following reasons:
• BR or FM cells could not be inserted in downstream direction;
• "central control" loopback of LB cells could not be performed because
insertion in downstream direction was not possible;
• FM cells transformed to BR cells could not be inserted in downstream
direction;
Bit OCIF in register ISR0 is the OR function result of all bits of CIFL and
CIFH registers.
