Operational Description
Table 4-4 shows minimum PCR shaper rates for all the possible values of TstepC
calculated at a SYSCLK of 51.84 MHz and 60 MHz with TPmax and Equation (14).

with PCRin denoting the desired PCR and PCRout denoting the delivered PCR, which is
always less than PCRin.
PCRout is calculated by first deriving TP from PCRin in Equation (15) and then
substituting TP in Equation (14).
The accuracy improves towards lower shaping rates and higher values of TstepC.
Note: The improvement is not monotonic and depends on the rounding error made at
the calculation of TP. However, from the formulas given above, it can be deduced
that the accuracy is always better than:
