7.14 Clear CMOS Jumper
CAUTION
Do not move any jumpers with the power on. Always turn off the power and unplug the power
cord from the server before changing a jumper setting. Otherwise, the board could be damaged.
This 3-pin jumper block allows the user to clear CMOS. Table 85 describes the jumper settings
for the two modes: normal and clear CMOS. When the jumper is set to Clear CMOS mode and
the server is powered-up, the contents of the CMOS are cleared.

7.15 PASSWORD Jumper
CAUTION

This 3-pin jumper block allows the user to clear PASSWORD. Table 86 describes the jumper
settings for the two modes: normal and clear PASSWORD. When the jumper is set to Clear
PASSWORD mode and the server is powered-up, the contents of the PASSWORD are cleared.
