Analog-to-Digital Converter (ATD10B16CV4)
Block Description
4.1 Introduction
The ATD10B16C is a 16-channel, 10-bit, multiplexed input successive approximation analog-to-digital
converter. Refer to the Electrical Speciï¬cations chapter for ATD accuracy.
4.1.1 Features

⢠7 µs, 10-bit single conversion time
⢠Sample buffer ampliï¬er
⢠Programmable sample time
⢠Left/right justiï¬ed, signed/unsigned result data
⢠External trigger control
⢠Conversion completion interrupt generation
⢠Analog input multiplexer for 16 analog input channels
⢠Analog/digital input pin multiplexing
⢠1 to 16 conversion sequence lengths
⢠Continuous conversion mode
⢠Multiple channel scans
⢠Conï¬gurable external trigger functionality on any AD channel or any of four additional trigger
inputs. The four additional trigger inputs can be chip external or internal. Refer to device
speciï¬cation for availability and connectivity
⢠Conï¬gurable location for channel wrap around (when converting multiple channels in a sequence)
4.1.2 Modes of Operation
There is software programmable selection between performing single or continuous conversion on a
single channel or multiple channels.
4.1.3 Block Diagram
