 How to determine the calibration value set by the register
1. At first, insert a LPF that attenuates the second harmonic between VCO and the LOIN pin. It is
recommended to suppress HD2 to -40dBc or less.
2. Set the LOIN input level and LOIN input frequency to the usage conditions and determine the
calibration value. One way to measure the phase imbalance is to set AK2401 to output CW and
measure it. Measure the phase difference of the I/Q output while inputting the CW signal of LO+1kHz
to RF and decide the calibration value closet to 90 degrees.
