6. Analog Outputs
The input data format for the DAC is 2âs complement. The output voltage is a positive full scale for
7FFFFFH (@24bit) and a negative full scale for 800000H (@24bit). The ideal output is VCOM voltage for
000000H (@24bit data). The headphone output is single-ended and centered around VSS (0V). There is
no need for AC coupling capacitors. The speaker amplifier (SPP and SPN pins) is BTL output, and they
should be connected directly to a speaker. There is no need for AC coupling capacitors. The stereo line
outputs (LOUT and ROUT pins) are single-ended and centered on 1.5V (LVCM0 bit = â1â: default). These
pins must be AC-coupled using a capacitor.
