A common sample-and-hold circuit for both units is included.

Conversion can be started by software, a conversion start trigger from a timer (MTU3 or
GPT), or an external trigger signal.
ï· Functionality for 8-bit precision output
Right-shifting the results of conversion for output by two bits is selectable.
ï· Self-diagnostic function
The self-diagnostic function internally generates three analog input voltages (AVSS,
VREF x 1/2, VREF).
CRC calculator (CRC)
ï· CRC code generation for arbitrary amounts of data in 8-bit units
ï· Select any of three generating polynomials:
X8 + X2 + X + 1, X16 + X15 + X2 + 1, or X16 + X12 + X5 + 1.
ï· Generation of CRC codes for use with LSB-first or MSB-first communications is
selectable.
