Read/Write 0 The LAN controller is placed in the standby mode. In the
standby mode, the clock stops, reducing current consumption
to about 10%.
When 1 is prewritten to bit 4 of BMPR14, the MB86967 enters
the shutdown mode. In this mode, the crystal oscillator stops,
reducing the current consumption to about 1%.
In the PC card mode, when the PwrDwn bit of CCR1 is set to
1, this bit is set to 0. Writing from DLCR7 to this bit is
prohibited.
1 Operating state (not standby state). In the PC card mode,
when the PwrDwn bit of CCR1 is set to 0, this bit is set to 1.
Writing from DLCR7 to this bit is prohibited.
Return from the shutdown mode by resetting.
Read
— The value of the external pin RDYPOL can be read. In the PC
card mode, the read value is always 1. In the ISA bus mode,
the read value of this bit is always 0.
