Reset
The MCU can be reset by setting the RESET pin high or by setting the STOPC pin low*. When power is
first applied, or when clearing subactive mode, watch mode, or stop mode, the RESET input must be held
for at least tRC to assure that the oscillation stabilization time (tRC) condition is fulfilled.
Similarly, the STOPC pin input must held for at least tRC when clearing stop mode with a STOPC pin input
to assure that the oscillator stabilizes.
In all other cases, the MCU is reset by a RESET input that is held for at least two instruction execution
cycles.
Table 1 lists the section of the MCU that are initialized by a reset and the initial values.
Note: * The STOPC pin reset is only effective in stop mode.
