Figure 52. âBEPP-Amp à Speaker-Ampâ Output Sequence
<Example>
The clocks can be stopped when only BEEP-Amp and Speaker-Amp are operating. However ALC2 must be
disabled.
(1) ALC2 Disable: ALC2 bit = â0â
(2) Power Up BEEP-Amp and Speaker-Amp: PMBP bit = PMSPK bit = â0â â â1â
(3) Disable the path of âALC2 Ã SPK-Ampâ: ALC2S bit = â0â
Enable the path of âBEEP Ã SPK-Ampâ: BEEPS bit = â0â â â1â
(4) Exit the power-save-mode of Speaker-Amp: SPPS bit = â0â â â1â
â(4)â time depends on the time constant of external resistor and capacitor connected to BEEP pin. If
Speaker-Amp output is enabled before input of BEEP-Amp becomes stable, pop noise may occur.
e.g. R=20k, C=0.1µF: Recommended wait time is more than 5Ï = 10ms.
(5) Enter the power-save-mode of Speaker-Amp: SPPS bit = â1â â â0â
(6) Power Down BEEP-Amp and Speaker-Amp: PMBP bit = PMSPK bit = â1â â â0â
(7) Disable the path of âBEEP Ã SPK-Ampâ: BEEPS bit = â1â â â0â
