â Handling of Unused Pin
Unused I/O pins must be processed appropriately as below.
Classification Pin Name
Analog
MPWR, SPN, SPP, ROUT/MIN, LOUT, RIN2,
LIN2, LIN1/DMDAT, RIN1/DMCLK, VIN, VOUT
Digital

Note 2. All voltages are with respect to ground.
Note 3. VSS1, VSS2, VSS3 and VSS4 must be connected to the same analog ground plane.
Note 4. MIN, LIN1, RIN1, LIN2, RIN2, VIN, I2C pins
Note 5. PDN, CSN, CCLK, CDTIO, SDTI, LRCK, BICK, MCKI pins
Note 6. In case that PCB wiring density is over 200% and its surface wiring density is over 50%. This power is the
AK4950 internal dissipation that does not include power dissipation of externally connected speakers.
WARNING: Operation at or beyond these limits may result in permanent damage to the device.
Normal operation is not guaranteed at these extremes.

Note 2. All voltages are with respect to ground.
Note 7. The power-up sequence between AVDD and TVDD is not critical. The PDN pin must be âLâ upon power up, and
should be changed to âHâ after all power supplies are supplied to avoid an internal circuit error.
* When TVDD is powered ON and the PDN pin is âLâ, AVDD can be powered ON/OFF. When the
AK4950 is powered ON from power-down state, the PDN pin must be âHâ after all power
supplies are ON.
* AKM assumes no responsibility for the usage beyond the conditions in this datasheet.
