Typical connection diagrams are shown in this section that demonstrate the flexibil-
ity of the SGTL5000. Both low cost and low power configurations are presented
although it should be noted that all configurations offer a low cost design with high
performance and low power.
Some design considerations for SGTL5000 are as follows:
• Star the ground pins of the chip, VAG ground, and all analog inputs/outputs to a
single point, then to the ground plane
• Use the widest, shortest trace possible for the HP_VGND
