(0x2E – 0x2F) Z-Axis Offset Registers
This register contains a signed 2’s complement 15-bit value applied as an offset adjustment to
the output of the acceleration values, prior to being sent to the OUT_EX registers. The Power-
On-Reset value for each chip is unique and is set as part of factory calibration. If necessary,
this value can be overwritten by software.
NOTE: When modifying these registers with new gain or offset values, software should
perform a read-modify-write type of access to ensure that unrelated bits do not get
changed inadvertently.
