The sensor core uses a Bayer color pattern, as shown in Figure 10. The even-numbered
rows contain green and red pixels; odd-numbered rows contain blue and green pixels.
Even-numbered columns contain green and blue pixels; odd-numbered columns
contain red and green pixels.

First active pixel

Black and empty pixels
For the MT9M114 the first active pixel is defined as the first pixel that would be used as
part of the demosaic border.
When the sensor is operating in a system, the active surface of the sensor faces the scene
as shown in Figure 11 on page 18.
When the image is read out of the sensor, it is read one row at a time, with the rows and
columns sequenced.
