PIC24HJXXXGPX06A/X08A/X10A devices were
designed to enhance the PIC24HJXXXGPX06/X08/
X10 families of devices.
In general, the PIC24HJXXXGPX06A/X08A/X10A
devices
are
backward-compatible
with
PIC24HJXXXGPX06/X08/X10 devices; however, man-
ufacturing
differences
may
cause
PIC24HJXXXGPX06A/X08A/X10A devices to behave
differently from PIC24HJXXXGPX06/X08/X10 devices.
Therefore, complete system test and characterization
is recommended if PIC24HJXXXGPX06A/X08A/X10A
devices are used to replace PIC24HJXXXGPX06/X08/
X10 devices.
The following enhancements were introduced:
• Extended temperature support of up to +125ºC
• Enhanced Flash module with higher endurance
and retention
• New PLL Lock Enable configuration bit
• Added Timer5 trigger for ADC1 and Timer3
trigger for ADC2
