(a) Changing the transfer data length
The CSIBn transfer data length can be set in 1-bit units between 8 and 16 bits using the
CBnCTL2.CBnCL3 to CBnCTL2.CBnCL0 bits.
When the transfer data length is set to a value other than 16 bits, the data must be set to the CBnTX or
CBnRX register starting from the LSB, regardless of whether the transfer start bit is the MSB or LSB.
Any data can be set for the higher bits that are not used, but the received data becomes 0 following serial
transfer.
