Start-up

Termination

Set the LCD driving voltages to VCC level

Set the STBY bit to 1

(turn on the standby function)

Wait until external clock pulses stabilize

Set the STBY bit to 0

(turn off the standby function)

Supply the LCD driving voltages

Set registers again

Wait for a time period of tCL1 or longer

Set the display memory

Set the DISP bit to 1 (turn on LCD)

Notes: 1. Not necessary in the case of using internal oscillation.

2. Refer to equation 1 (Section 3.1).
