13.1 Introduction
The MC9S08AC60 Series includes up to two independent serial communications interface (SCI) modules
depending on package. An SCI is sometimes called universal asynchronous receiver/transmitters
(UARTs). For the MC9S08AC60 Series, stop1 is not a valid mode, so ignore these references.
