Operating Temperature
The FlexRay transceiver TLE9221SX is qualified for temperature Grade 1 (-40°C to +125°C ambient operating
temperature) according to AEC - Q100. Grade 1 according AEC - Q100 is equivalent to the ambient temperature
for class 1 TAMB_Class1 (CT index:53)1) defined by the FlexRay EPL, version 3.0.1.
Infineon specifies for the electrical characteristics (see Table 21) the junction temperature TJunction. The ambient
temperature can be calculated with the power dissipation and the thermal resistance RthJA (see Figure 49).
